Gabriel Montes is Metronome’s JS Engineering Lead. He has a strong technical background in JavaScript, software development and software project management.
Q: Gabriel, who are you and what is your role on the Metronome Team?
A: I’m the leader of the team in charge of several Metronome-related projects that will help people in their daily usage of the tokens.
Q: What has excited you most about the Metronome Project?
A: The chance to integrate various state-of-the-art technologies in a unique product for the tokenized future we are all starting to experience today.
Q: What has been the greatest challenge in bringing this new currency to life?
A: Ensuring that everything — the code and the accouterments — is as clean and secure as possible.
Q: What do you hope will be the most-used application for Metronome?
A: We, as the development team, have many ideas and a few reasons-to-be and reasons-to-build Metronome. Obviously Metronome’s main use case is as a currency, but I am also very excited to see what contracts and chain support the community will develop. Will the market follow those? Time will tell.
Q: Where will you be when the auction starts?
A: On Metronome.io and viewing the auction on the blockchain to make sure that everything is working as designed!
